We meet once a fortnight at 9.30 am in Southam’s Wood Street car park. We then travel (car sharing) to the start point of the walk itself, usually returning to Southam by lunchtime.
The Wednesday walks are usually between 4.5 and 6 miles long.
We also organise ‘special’ walks, including a full day’s walking, an annual heritage walk with a representative of Southam Heritage Collection, a Summer Picnic Walk, and a ‘Soup and Puds’ Winter walk.
Your first walk with us is free, and if you wish to continue walking with us on a regular basis, then you are encouraged to join The Ramblers.
Sorry, because we often cross farmland with stiles, etc, dogs are not normally allowed on these walks.
For further information and our latest program of walks, please visit our page on the Ramblers website www.ramblers.org.uk/southam
We also offers a series of gentle Thursday evening Summer Stroller walks once per fortnight in the summer around the Southam area.
Meet at Wood Street Car Park at 7pm (NB 6.30pm for the longer walk on 20th June).
Everyone is welcome, there is no charge and no transport required. The walks range from 3 to 6 miles and take about 2 hours. If you would like to get to know the area better on foot, do join us. (Please note, unfortunately these strolls are not generally suitable for dog walking.)
Please go to the Southam Ramblers website for the full program of walks
