SOUTHAM IN BLOOM is holding Open Gardens this year on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July, from 11am to 5pm. There will be 16 gardens to visit, a wonderful selection including riverside, walled, large, small, cottage, vegetable – so there is something for everyone!
St James Church in Park Lane and Southam Heritage Collection at Tithe Place will also be open, as will the Gardening Club’s new ‘back of the Vets’ Garden in Coventry Street.
Entrance will be by programme (£5 per person, school age children free), available from Jacqueline the Florist prior to the event, or by phoning Lesley on 01926 813986, and from St James Church on Park Lane, or from any of the gardens on both days. The programme is valid for both days. Regretfully we cannot accept dogs in the gardens.
Several of the gardens will be serving refreshments, and some will be selling plants. If you are travelling some distance, why not make a weekend of it! Stratford, Warwick and Leamington have plenty of accommodation, and are within easy reach of Southam. So come along, have a couple of great days out, and pick up plenty of ideas for your own garden!
