Christmas Lights Switch On Event & Market

Southam Lights Switch On will feature a Christmas Market in the town centre.  There will also be a Lantern Parade, stalls, games, rides, live music and much more.

Santa and his helper will be switching on the lights at approx 5.30pm after the Lantern Parade – everyone welcome – (NB: no flammable lanterns please).

The Rotary Tree of Light (next to Southam Carpets) will also be switched on at approx 5.45pm

PLEASE NOTE: For this event Market Hill, High Street and Coventry Street will be closed to traffic from early morning until approx 21:00 hrs (starting at the Bowling Green Inn down to the junction with Warwick Road).



Myton Hospice Charity Evening at Napton Village Hall

Charity concert in support of Myton Hospice featuring three local acoustic bands:

Classical Concert at the Grange Hall

The Beauchamp Sinfonietta are back in town with a beautiful programme of music ranging from Haydn’s Clock Symphony and Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Britten’s Les Illuminations, with Elizabeth Ryder singing the soprano role.

Students and children can come along for £2, a great way for them to experience live classical music and see and hear instruments they may be learning to play.

Charity Concert: Dunchurch Band at the Grange Hall

Join us for a Charity concert featuring the Dunchurch Brass Band at the Grange Hall, Southam on Saturday 28th September at 7.30pm

All our local over 60s are welcome to come along to join in the fun and be entertained at the Southam & District Lions annual Ken Graham Extravaganza starting at 2pm on Saturday 24th September at Southam College, Welsh Road West.
